SIMON
DALES
Simon is an RTS award winning filmmaker who has recently produced and directed projects for the BBC, Curiosity Stream, and Discovery ID.
The first 12 years of his career were spent as an editor, during which time he cut projects for most major broadcasters in the UK and USA, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery Networks, National Geographic and PBS.
In 2017 he made the move into directing. His first film, Murder in Soho: Who Killed Freddie Mills, was a feature-length documentary that went on to win Best Single Documentary at the RTS Southern Awards.
He then went on to produce and direct 2 episodes of Secrets of the Solar System for SVOD Curiosity Stream, which focused on the human stories behind the missions to the Sun and Pluto.

He directed two episodes of the true crime series Predator at Large in 2019, and two episodes of Til Death do us Part in 2020 - both for Discovery ID.

He is currently directing a project about flight MH370 for Paramount Plus.
